imycraft (“we”, “us”) is built to be private by default. This policy explains what we do and don't do with your data.

Your files stay on your device

The core of imycraft — compressing, converting, resizing, improving images, and creating PDFs — runs entirely inside your web browser. Your images and documents are never uploaded to our servers and we never see, store, or share them.

The Background Remover downloads a small AI model to your browser the first time you use it (from a content-delivery network). The processing still happens on your device — your image itself is not sent anywhere.

Information we collect

We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the tools. We do not collect the content of the files you process.

Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics may automatically receive standard technical information (such as your browser type, device, and general location from your IP address) to keep the site secure and understand overall usage.

Data stored in your browser

To make the site nicer to use, we save a few small preferences in your browser's local storage — for example your light/dark theme choice and your recently used or favourite tools. This never leaves your device and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data.

Cookies and advertising

We may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics, and advertising.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to imycraft and other sites.

Third-party services

We rely on a few trusted services to run imycraft:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Google AdSense / Analytics — advertising and usage statistics (once enabled).
• A content-delivery network for the background-removal AI model.

Each has its own privacy policy governing the technical data it processes.

Children

imycraft is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. For any privacy question, or to exercise rights you may have under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, contact us using the details below.
